Hello, First of all I'm a noob, just started using lynux Ubuntu-mate, My Question is about the terminal This is my problem $ sudo apt install gome-tweaks i clicked enter next line came up {sudo} password for jinco99. Here is my problem I try to type in my password and it will not let me do nothing, can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong
just type your correct password (it will not displayed on terminal) and then press Enter.
To use 'sudo' command you must have proper privileges. Type in terminal 'groups' command (without quotes). If you see '...adm ... sudo ...' in the output then you have rights to use sudo and install new packages.
