The file manager is Caja in English too, since it was originally created (forked from Nautilus) by an Argentine.
You can make multiple copies at the same time, but this is improved in Caja in MATE 1.18, which includes a queue for copying. You need to be using Ubuntu MATE 17.04 to get this version of Caja, not the LTS release 16.04.
yes, have a mate 17.04, exactly that is what I do not want, not want a queue for copying, how do I deactivate that?
To my knowledge, the only way to bypass queuing is to perform separate tasks in the terminal. Mind if I ask what you have against the queuing system, when having multiple operations may slow them all down?
its true, thanks for comment
I do agree with you about disabling queuing as an option, but then warn user when disabled about the potential to slow down multiple tasks when using a older SSD, HDD or other legacy USB-attached media.
I can totally understand the need to disable queuing when you’re using a non-volatile memory express media, which only functions with the peripheral component interconnect express bus via its native interface, M.2 / next generation form factor or U.2 / Small form factor 8639.
