Hey guys, if you are using a MacBook (like me) and can’t get the fans to work at all, try this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mactel-support/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt install macfanctld
I think this issue is more common with stock Ubuntu than Ubuntu MATE, but I have seen people struggling.
