Toggle Brisk menu

Is there a way to set the super key to toggle brisk menu so that it closes when pressed again?

This is the default behavior. Does it not work for you? What version of Ubuntu MATE are you on?

Hmm strange. It didn’t work for me on 17.10 and now it isn’t working on 18.04. I tried with pantheon and Cupertino. I can activate with super but have to deactivate with escape (which I have mapped to capslock in case that matters)

That is certainly strange…
Are you using Marco or Compiz as your window manager?
Also, what’s your keyboard layout/locale?

It’s the default Marco setting. I switch between English and german keyboard layouts. Mostly on US English.

I have this issue also although I am using it in the dash mode, super key opens it and click on the button or application to get out, esc does work though I just tried it, using marco compton

Ok, I’ll try to reproduce tonight on a clean install. I know there’s a pending fix for brisk regarding super key, but can’t quite remember what it was about.

My bash workaround makes it launch with some delay, but hey it shows and hides the brisk with the Super_L. Well, kind of
