The distribution doesn't matter, but BIOS settings does. Why isn't the disk showwing in a Dell G7 7700? The Ventoy device does, but not the internal storage.
My only suggestion is to forgo the use of Ventoy and allow Windows to burn the Linux ISO to a minimum 8 GB flash drive. Be aware that will reformat the flash drive. In Windows...simply right click on the ISO and choose to burn to the flash drive.
If the internal storage is not showing in the BIOS, it is very likely that the internal storage is disconnected or dead.
I should had mention this earlier, it was the drive mode. RAID was enabled in UEFI, disabling RAID allowed it to work.
