Ubunto Mate 16.04 Misbehaving badly

Booted my UbuntuMate machine this AM, and everything on the screen was jumping up and down.

All the icons were there but were blank (white). There was no top bar showing with the Apps- Places - System. I disconnected all usb from back of box, both cdroms, internal usb hub, hopefully everything but the KB and mouse and monitor.

All the icons were there but were blank (white). There was no top bar showing with the Apps- Places - System. I disconnected all usb from back of box, both cdroms, internal usb hub, hopefully everything but the KB and mouse and monitor and rebooted. The icons were still blank, not jumping and click-able.

I have COMOTO installed and got a message from it that said that: The Kernel Module
"redirts.KO" appropriate for your current Kernel does not exist. Please run:
/opt/comodo/post_setup.sh. I tried it and was informed that there was No such Command.

Went to Timeshift and tried to run a Restore and Timeshife keeps freezing up.

I need some help here folks, and please talk in non geeky talk.

This issue was fixed by going into the Synaptic Package Mgr. and search for “broken”.
