I have seen few thouhgs about Ubuntu MATE being the default flavour of Ubuntu, I agree with that, I think MATE has it's how identity and with 1.24.0 version in focal, it feels really stable.
About the desktop UI, what I want to know about the comunity is about elements size, like buttons and title bars, because I do not why almost every DE is targeting toch screen like it is the only future, instead of bringing us a choice and if we choice desktop non touch laptop for example make thinks compact and yes I do not like gnome because of that!
