Hello I have the problem that when I have write the download file with the win32disk imager on the SD card and put the SD card into my raspberry the operating system don’t start. Normally the colorful screen came but the screen is black. What can I do?
First, check if the LEDs blink (apart from the initial bright when you power-on) - if they do, then the boot process has started, but you may not have any screen activity for some reason (poor connection …).
Second, a sanity check - does Windows report any readable content on the SD card? You should see a small FAT partition holding the boot files.
If neither of these help, assume a load failure, and try
a) reloading the SD card
b) a new SD card
