I’ve installed “Ubuntu Tweak” 0.8.8 on my Mate desktop as I’ve used it before when running Ubuntu 14.04 and liked it.
However, it won’t run. Has anyone else experienced this problem ? If so, is there a fix ?
Thanks,
Bruce

But you have installed it?
The repository is just for Trusty, you have to correct it on the “software and updates”
Can you be more specific?
Fabio
It could also be related to the theme you are using. Does it start using the default theme (yoyo)?
I am using the default theme.
What do you mean, Fabio, by your comment about correcting it in software and updates ?
What exactly do I need to do ?
Can you be more specific ?
I’ve installed Ubuntu Tweak and have been using it for years, find it a great tool that is why I would like to also use it when I’m running 15.04 Ubuntu Mate.
Thank You,
ppa is not available at this time - for 15.04 mate
OK, that explains things.
Thanks,
Bruce
Sorry I’m late…
Why you don’t install it from the official site?
Just do the follow command…
wget https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-tweak/0.8.x/0.8.7/+download/ubuntu-tweak_0.8.7-1~trusty2_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i ubuntu-tweak_0.8.7-1~trusty2_all.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
rm ubuntu-tweak_0.8.7-1~trusty2_all.deb
ubuntu-tweak
Fabio
