UM 18.04 Doesn't Recognize and Mount my External HDD

Hi,

I don’t know even which way to go to skin this goat, but here it is:

  • My Ubuntu Mate 18.04 install normally recognizes USB sticks, but won’t mount my external HDD. Anyone know what could be the issue?

Do you know the filesystem of your external hdd ? is it ext4, ntfs, fat32 …
