Flatpak system tray icons (examples being Nextcloud’s, KeePassXC’s) do not appear in the indicator applet tray in Ubuntu MATE 18.04. This is inconvenient for me, as I enjoy using Flatpaks (such as the named above), but for those apps that’s functionality is hampered by the lack of an indicator applet/system tray icon (again, like the named above), I am left to either work around it, or switch to a different method of installation of the software (such as Snap or Apt).
Any help with this issue would be much appreciated.
