Hi guys,
I’m experiencing this issue; I open the menu ( top left ), I start typing some chars to the search, and, on the right column, I see the list of selected programs what match the keywrds typed.
The issue is that >> there is no way to select one of them using arrow key!! <<
If I move the arrow key no item is selected, I have to move the mouse cursor above the program if I want to run it.
Do you know about this problem?
Thanks in advance
If you’re talking about the mate-menu, that seems to be fixed in the upcoming Ubuntu MATE 17.10 release.
Hi @gianlucaf, I can suggest trying Tab and Shift-Tab to try and navigate areas but I’m not a user of MATE Menu, which I also assume you are referring. The Ubuntu-MATE version you’re using can help get more specific.
Hi,
yes, I’m talking about mate-menu, and probabply I’ll have to wait the new ubuntu release to have this problem fixed; tab navigation does not work.
By the way, I hope that with 17.10 release will be fixed the top-menu issue too: it occurs since 16.04 if I’m not wrong ( the incredible problem that if you open application with topmenu such as caja, the topmenu will crash the hole application immediatly … )
Thanks in advance!
