I have an older laptop I run Ubuntu Mate 18.04 on. I only use it in the summer to play music with Bluetooth speakers on my patio, and maybe order food delivery or look something up while out there. I do like to update it two or three times in the winter.
Every time I boot I cannot update as "unattended upgrades" are running and locks "dpkg" and never seems to finish. To keep this from happening I uninstalled "unattended-upgrades". I always update, upgrade or dist-upgrade as soon as I boot up.
Will this cause me any problems?
