Upgrade from 16.04 to 16.10 avahi-dnsconfd error

Hi guys, during upgrade to 16.10 there was an error in avahi-dnsconfd. It cannot be upgraded to new version. Terminal says
(roughly translated to english)
dpkg: warning: process old pre-removal script returned error status 1 and many other error stuff.

This package also cannot be removed, it seems to be a known bug, I found some reports on launchpad and debian bugtracker, but without any hint how to fix this. Any suggestions?

Also I miss tilda in 16.10, it seems to be installed but the F12 shortcut doesn’t work anymore. I liked tilda a lot, can I get it back?

Thanks.

Yep. tilda did this to me as well following the upgrade. It is not loading at startup. to check this, open a terminal form the main menu and type “tilda”. Then try f12 to see if it is there

I eventually managed to fix this using Synaptic GUI while being offline. I completely removed avahi-dnsconfd and then reinstalled it. It went smoothly with no errors.

Also to keep tilda I had to manually enter it into the list of automatically executed programs in Control Center. Now it works as before.
