USB drives not working

Just upgrades to 18.04.2 LTS
Now I can't access my USB drives.

Message:
Could not display "/media/rwby/C0BF-191E".

The icon appears on the desktop but it won't mount.

I tried several drives , new ones too!

Please help

PS: i'm not very good in terminal.

When I began using GNU/Linux I had many problems. I didn't know much at all and had to help myself with the little knowledge that I had. So what I would do in your situation is backup my data (hopefully you did this before you upgraded your system) and do a fresh install.
BUT, Ubuntu-Mate has many very useful features for those beginning their GNU/Linux journey. I suggest that you try the following before you go for a fresh installation.

  1. Open the software boutique.
  2. At the very right-hand side of the top row of green icons there is a "box with a tick-mark" - it is called "fixes".
  3. Click on the black buttons one after another in the sequence "Update Sources List", "Upgrade Installed Packages", "Configure Interrupted Packages", "Resolve broken Packages". Let each one finish what it does before you click on the next one.

It is possible that your upgrade did not work perfectly and that these "fixes" will solve the problem. :slightly_smiling_face:
