+1 - I see it as a good sign of less bloat. Bring on the 2 GB flash drives! 
The only requirement is that:
+1 - I agree, there has been some photography I liked, but felt were "spoiled" by having the Ubuntu MATE logo stuck on for the sake of it... the only exception is if the logo is cleverly baked into the photo, like the Wily Werewolf moon wallpaper (15.10). Again, that's personal preference, and I don't think many other distros are excessive with logos in wallpapers.
