I was looking thru my Startup Preferences and found Create an autostart for Caja Dropbox there.
I did a yahoo search but found nothing.
What does it do? If I don’t need it, I want to uncheck it.
Startup preferences has a lot of entries that 16.04 did not have.
Is there a page somewhere that explains them?
Do you hae caja-dropbox
installed for backing up files to Dropbox? This process is responsible for starting that service. If you aren’t using Dropbox then I guess you don’t need it…
And yes it has a lot of entries, many of them are system processes and hence necessary, like “Indicator Application”, “MATE Settings Daemon” etc.
