Dear all,
I am trying to understand why I get this green border around the date indicator when I click on an application icon such as shown below.
Do you know why?

Nothing here. What is your gtk theme and icons ?
Hello @Tristan_VILLERS,
I use the default Ambiant-MATE theme without any further customisation.
I tried. But nothing here. What is your custom layout ?
You only have it on date ?
Actually, I get these borders around the last non-indicator element that I select.
For example, if I pressed the power icon before:
I guess it has to do with the indicator applet as I do not get a border if I click on the power icon or the date icon itself.
And now I just received this error:
green icon look like from google chat. hm. are you using google chrome? just out of curious
@Kings777, you are correct.
That is the solution!
It is due to the Google Chrome Hangouts Extension.
Strange...
Great! also you can remove from that extension in google chrome on the setting if you want to.
