I’ve downloaded and installed Ubuntu Mate for the Raspberry Pi. I’ve installed all updates on my Pi 3. I’ve tried Firefox and Chromium. Both crash on startup. Without a working web browser the OS is useless.

I just updated via:
sudo apt-get update && upgrade
and 'Chromium 61.0.3163.100' is working fine for me...

me too.updated to 16.04.3 and firefox 56.firefox crash each time.

Chromium is working now after most recent update.
Firefox was still broken a day or so ago when I last checked.
