I am here because I don't want to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10, which would literally mean buying a whole new laptop. So I hope I can stay with Ubuntu MATE for a certain time until Ill buy one.

Anyway, I am not a coder, but I understand some community and debugging processes due to my involvement in editing and user testing of new features in Wikipedia. From first sight, it looks Ubuntu MATE community has advanced organization so I am eager to learn how it works here to compare it with Wikipedia.
