I fly on an old Lenovo ideapad P500.

My first experience w/ a computer was playing Oregon Trail on I think an Apple II. My elementary school wasn't into technology because we should have had something more modern by the early nineties. In middle school we learned Corel Draw on early Windows. Since then, I've had a love for computers and though not in the field professionally, it's fun just learning more and more. I am slowly learning coding including taking the Harvard CS50 course and dabbling in FORTH.

I almost gave up on Linux, but thanks to the podcast Going Linux, I learned about how easy it was to setup Mate, so here I am, bringing my old Lenovo back to life! I'm pleased to meet fellow enthusiasts of computers, data privacy, and open source tech!!
