I am relatively new to Linux. I am just south of 60 and have been a Windows user since 3.1. I actually started a couple years ago with Ubuntu Touch and had fun loading UT on older Nexus 5 phones. Then I dragged out some old laptops and started loading different distros. I started with Ubuntu and then tried MINT, MX, Debian and Fedora but I kept coming back to Ubuntu. I discovered MATE and have never looked back.
I am a graphic designer so my main desktop is still Windows, but my daily driver is my 10th gen Dell laptop and I spend more time on it then I do the desktop.
