I use Ubuntu Mate for home use. I’m old, happy and happily married. I enjoy nice people & helpful people very much; ignore and don’t respond much to ‘less than courteous/nice/helpful’ folks. I’ve been using (and playing with) Linux since 1993 (Slackware back then). Used other *nix previous to that.
