i have U.M. 16.04 installed and i was setting up all my thing that worked in ubuntu 10.04 .
i usually set up /etc/crontab to run an script in the middle of the night. but in U.M. 16.04 i can’t get the job to run.
i’v checked the permission of both files and added my path . has something changed since 10.04 with /etc/crontab?
update i had a moment i used geany to edit crontab evidentially when edited with geany it does something to the file .
