Continuing the discussion from Programs to add to the Software Boutique:

Does anyone know of a good program to extract EXIF information from image files and another one to erase all meta data from files that could be included in the Software Boutique? For image files on Windows I used Image Meta Data Stripper. A program similar to Image Meta Data Stripper would be great to have in the Software Boutique.

Hi maro,
you may try ExifTool by Phil Harvey which is available in the Ubuntu repo. The tool can read, write and edit exif meta data from images.

I think it does not have a GUI and cannot erase meta data. I am looking for an easy, graphical solution, preferably with drag and drop that is suitable for the Software Boutique.
