15.04-Successful Install-Can't Boot To Desktop?

Hi,

I successfully installed Ubuntu MATE 15.04 64Bit.
After successful installation I can’t boot into a desktop?

When I turn on computer it boots to screen asking for encrypted LVM passphrase
and I am unable to enter passphrase with keyboard.
I tried editing GRUB and remove “quiet splash” but booting that way fails and gets stuck.

How can I fix this boot problem, thanks!

If this isn’t what you did,
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet”

Hi,

OK, where do I put that command?
Press [e] at boot gets me to the GRUB edit mode.
