18.04 Caja Hash Checking?

I saw in the release notes for 18.04 that Caja has a number of really nice new features. I’ve figured out how to use all of them but one: hash checking. I’ve always just used a terminal to do hash checking, but I’m curious.

The release notes make it sound like the hash checking extension is included by default, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to use it. How does hash checking work in Caja in MATE 18.04?

You right-click on a file, select “Properties” and then open the “Digest” tab.
It would be nice for this to have its own entry in the context menu.

I was expecting a separate entry in the context menu, and didn’t even think to look on the Digest tab of the Properties menu. Thanks!
