So this started happening yesterday or the day prior: everytime my system falls into screen saver mode and I come back out of it (TTY7) that the top menu MATE bar (alongside bottom bar and icons) are all gone.
I fix that by killing the marco process via TTY1. However after doing so, MATE menu is back and everything(including desktop icons) yet the top bars(containing maximize/minimize/close buttons) of all my windows is gone.
Having killed caja processes this never fixed it and there is no other marco PID to kill. My only option is to close session.
