New Battery, new original 16 GB Memory, tested with Memtester. What´s more to enjoy?
Memory is Kingston HyperX DDR3L 16 GB and the Battery a GreenCell 71Wh. Thinkpad T530 is fully upgraded, just need to replace the Thermal Paste.

Are there different grades/quality of "thermal paste" and, if so which would you recommend to redo the connections?

Well, depends if you have a Laptop or a Desktop Machine. I chosen the Polartherm X-10 because it has Interface resistance of 6.2 mm²·K/W. There are better ones in that matter but i had to watch my budget and also she´s long lasting. Especially in my Laptop i want to do it once and forget about it a few years.
Also, the Cooling Element matters, i prefer it a bit oversized so you have safe room even if the CPU should reach higher Temps. Mine is made for a additional GPU but since i switched that off, the whole thing only works for the CPU. Even with the paste being old at the moment, i never reach Temperatures beyond 80 Degree. And that with a Intel Core i7-3630QM.
