Add Loads of default keyboard shortcuts to make UM a heaven for a keyboard-driven user

For the comparison’s sake, Unity is one of the best desktop environments out there. Unity has it’s haters, but you’ve got to admit that the deafult keyboard shortcuts packed with Unity is a life-saver. It makes me more productive.
And here, I want UM to have loads of default keyboard shortcuts. It’d make UM a great choice and indeed, more appealing to a keyboard-driven user. Any thoughts about implementing this feature?

I have to say, after my time with Ubuntu and Xubuntu I always bind ctl+alt+t to terminal and I usually bind ctl+alt+r to open a root session of whatever file manager I’m using.

+1. Also, I want to add Super Key + C, or any other keybinding with the Super Key to open the Home folder.

I use Manjaro XCFE and Windows, so I’m used to hitting the Superkey to open the Start/Whisker menu. Would that be possible to do the same thing here? If not, how about when you switch to Redmond in MATE tweak, it turns on the Superkey binding to the Whisker menu?
