Adjusting Screen to Full Overscan

Hi

With my install of Ubuntu Mate, it has set the screen display so that it has a black box around it.

When I installed Raspbian Jesse before, I needed to change a setting to make the program ‘overscan’.

I assume the same thing applies here.

Would you be able to advise me on how to change Ubuntu Mate to overscan to a 1920 x1080 (16:9)?

Kind Regards

Ian

Hi @sarian90,

does this help?:

Edit the /boot/config.txt file and disable (or tweak) the overscan settings.

For my HD screen I just needed DISABLE_OVERSCAN=1
