Try as I might, I just can’t seem to figure out a way to turn off comments/descriptions in the mate advanced menu.
I wish to have only the name of the app and not what it does
@pfd27 - if you right-click on the Menu and select Preferences, you should be able to change this in the Applications tab:
Unselect the first checkbox: "Show application comments".
