I am fond of using Albert as my default application launcher. But one difficulty I see when I use it is that I cannot see Caja in the suggestions for Albert.
Is this a bug? Other mate applications such as calculator etc are easily accessible.
I use Albert too. On my system, it finds Caja:
I'd look to see if you have a custom caja.desktop file (usually in ~/.local/share/applications), because I've had that cause Albert not to see an app before.
I have sideloaded i3 as a wm and in i3 the albert dialog doesn’t search for caja. I do not have a custom caja.desktop file where you mentioned
