Hi After a change in display resolution all the panels are gone. I can only see the Desktop with Icons (like files and folders) but no panels. With right click and “Start in Terminal” i can get a command bash but thats it. How can i get the panels back?

I had that happen. See here. What I did: alt-f2, type mate-tweak, and cycle through several panels until they return.
