All panels gone

Hi
After a change in display resolution all the panels are gone.
I can only see the Desktop with Icons (like files and folders) but no panels.
With right click and “Start in Terminal” i can get a command bash but thats it.
How can i get the panels back?

I had that happen. See here. What I did: alt-f2, type mate-tweak, and cycle through several panels until they return.

Hi @eddy, You should be able to execute things from that terminal. Such as:

mate-tweak

Under Panel, select “Familiar”, which is the default. Does that get it?

EDIT: ooops, @jaybo and I posted about the same time. Either should work.

Good news. Problem solved!
mate-display-propperties showed there are 2 screens (the 2nd screen can not be connected, no hardware).
i guess the panels are shown on the second screen.
After disabling the 2nd screen i could configure everything.
Thanks a lot!
Greetings Eddy

This shouldn’t be a thing. When is MATE team going to fix that?
