I would like to be able to transfer movies or pictures without having to take the card out and attach my card reader to copy files using Thunar(file manager).
Here is a pic of my connections of my Canon camera.
I looked at the manual and could not understand part of it.
So, if you have an HDMI interface on your computer, you could set your computer's video record function to take input from the HDMI interface, play the video on your camera and create the video that way.
Also, if that "AV OUT" port is 3.5 mm port and you have a dedicated video card that has a similar port for video input, then you are in luck. Again, set your computer's record function to take input from that port, play the video on your camera, and create the video file.
I can not find Mini USB2. Seems like stores do not think Android phones worth carrying cables for.
My opinion is that Apple is overpriced and can do nothing more than my Android can do for 1/2 the price.
My daughter who owns an apple phone and apple watch says that when Apple comes out with a new phone, the older phones get slower, thus making customers buy a newer Apple phone.
If someone wants to buy an Apple phone and they are happy with it, so am I.
I found a new Mini USB2 at a store that sells used computer equipment. It seems the industry has relegated that standard format to the bins of history. So, support (meaning gettings spares) is getting very hard to come by!
I agree and I ruined a Samsung tablet because I didn't know about USB C at the time and plugged a micro-USB into it. The plugs are very small and hard to see the difference if you are not looking for them.
Then you have updated ones for transfer speeds.
I still have mini-USB's on cameras and my Garmin GPS. I tend to save cables on whatever I throw out in case I ruin one and need the spare.
