App Center disappeared, instead it shows you the old Ubuntu Software in your Ubuntu 24.04? Here’s how to fix the issue.
As you know, Ubuntu switched to App Center since 23.10. While, the old Ubuntu Software is still in use for Ubuntu 22.04 and 20.04. And, both are Snap Store.
I use Synaptic but know people have had issues with this happening.

Not sure if I got your intent correctly.
Did you want the old Ubuntu Software at 24.04 and are happy about that?
Or did you want the App Center at 24.04, and are unhappy that it got replaced?
And BTW, what I have is "Software Boutique", not "Ubuntu Software". Are those two the same?

Thanks for this! I was wondering what happened. Though I usually just use Apt, I do use App Center when I want to browse available versions of snaps. I like the App Center much better than the old Snap Store.

No, Ubuntu Software is managed by the Ubuntu Desktop team, where Software Boutique was created by the Ubuntu-MATE team and whilst Software Boutique provided fewer software choices, each was best in the class I recall hearing Wimpy describe it (probably on a podcast long ago).
The Software Boutique and its managed software lists aren't maintained anymore
