A few apps like for example, transmission, synaptic and others open off screen and to the left when I maximize/minimize. I usually can see them when I right click in the bottom and select move and bring them to my screen only to find out they have frozen and can't be closed nor used. I checked my other workspaces and they don't appear there. What could be the solution?
compiz and its settings manager seems to have fixed the issue.
