Doesn anyone have any experience setting up the application Chrony for Arch Linux? It’s a little bit better for laptops than NTP is, and I’m trying to figure it out. Thing is though, I’ve always found the Ubuntu MATE community to be a bit nicer than the Arch community.
Anyone know anything?
Arch Linux has perhaps the best Linux wiki on the planet. And Chrony is of course covered: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Chrony
The advantage is that, since Arch is a pure hands-on distro, you usually get from its wiki a thorough manual setup explanation that you can often apply to other distros.
As for their community, haven’t had a bad experience at all. Along with Ubuntu-MATE and Solus, I consider these three communities my Linux hangouts. I don’t use Arch anymore, but I still visit their community regularly.
