Thank you for that reference to the "Ascii Patrol" game ("mainly inspired by "Moon Patrol ") 
Many years ago (around 1985), I've played a similar game / clone called "Moon Alert!" - https://worldofspectrum.org/archive/software/games/moon-alert-ocean-software-ltd - in a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (the "48K" model or the "128K +2" model) computer - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZX_Spectrum - and it's nice to revive those old fond memories.
