Is there a way to auto center all newly opened windows? I know you can do it in gnome. Google isn’t helping me.

Go to “System/Preferences/Look and Feel/Windows” and select the “placement” tab. Then check the “centre new windows” checkbox.

- How does one save the locations of application windows?
For example, is it possible to have gedit open (every time) in the lower right position.
