This slightly affects the look of ubuntu mate
nemo good font and caja bad fonts
Trie to lower the fonts size in mate control center . Go to control center / appearance / fonts and lower program fonts size it should do it . I think it is becouse nemo is part of cinnamon desktop and uses difirent keys to get the fonts from . And the key may be set for difirent font size then default Ubuntu Mate settings .
