Bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-mate-welcome/+bug/1613410 was apparently fixed for Yakkety, but in 16.04 even with the latest updates the Boutique still includes a broken Ocenaudio install.
It should be removed there as well.
Thanks for pointing it out, I’ve removed it from the Xenial branch. It’ll be gone in the next update.
Now to prod @Wimpy to create a new PPA package for Xenial.
