Burning CD/DVD data discs using Caja 1.16.6

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some guidance re: Burning CD/DVD data discs under Caja 1.16.6.

I tried following the instructions under Help > Contents > Writing CD’s or DVD’s but there’s no option to ‘Write to Disc’ under Caja? Not too sure what I’m doing wrong?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

The issue is that I can drop files into the DC/DVD creator just fine, but there's no 'burn' button anywhere?

yes, seems brasero installs only “nautilus-extension-brasero” so there is no integration in caja > caja send to a blank cd/dvd but can’t manage it… imho

(if you deinstall brasero there is no more option “send to” cd/dvd, so brasero should be the default cd/dvd burning app i guess)

dunno if it’s a bug, maybe devs can check it

edit: digging a little more in the “send to” extension there should be a plugin > caja-burn that should manage the cd/dvd burning dealing with brasero inside caja, but i’m not enough inside the matter…
