Caja per folder view settings

i have set a default view in the file management tool in control centre expecting it to reset the folder views once i have finished using them with max sized icons when needed. where does caja keep the folder view data so i can reset all folders back to the settings i chose in control centre? “reset views to default” does not work how i expect it to work.

I just confirmed that this problem exists on my own system:

  • UbuntuMATE 22.04.5 LTS

  • MATE caja 1.26.0
