Can’t seem to get my Logitech Pro 900 to work. Any suggestions? App opens but doesn’t do anything

Sorry, app is Cheese. Only a blank window when camera is plugged in. When camera is not plugged in the window is black with the camera icon at bottom grayed out.

What version of UM are you using? I ask because I had this problem only last week after installing UM 16.04.2.
I then installed 16.10 to see if the problem persisted and it did.
I then went on-line and got hold of a copy of 16.04.1 and installed that version and my logitech camera is working again. All of which suggests that some changes have been made since UM 16.04.2 that are buggering up the logitech webcam on UM from that point onwards.
I am sure it will get fixed at some point. These things usually are. But, in the meantime, it might be worthwhile simply reinstalling with UM 16.04.1

I am running the latest, 17.04 I believe. Thanks for your interest.
My guess, then, is that the problem with the Logitech camera I have identified in 16.04.2 and 16.10 has persisted into 17.04.
