when i try to start any application (OBS, Teams, Zooms, Crhome Meet, Cheese), the camera start 1 second and turns off.
this happens intermittently but never stabilizes
do you see the camera device in the output of lsusb
?
any output from this, dmesg | grep -i camera

when I execute install ucview

I found some pages that read, this device model 04f2:b40e is known to have problems
(look for type=camera and you will see a yellow triangle with ! )

I uninstall Zoom -> update -> upgrade -> reinstall Zoom
now it works!!
