Can you export custom MATE Panel layouts?

Hello,

I was wondering if, in Ubuntu MATE, you are able to export a custom panel layout created and saved using the MATE Tweak tool.

I will be installing Ubuntu MATE for one of my (elderly) family members and he has a certain way he likes to use his computer. So, I was thinking I could set up the panel layout the way he likes, save it in MATE Tweak Tool, and export it somehow so I can then have it all set up for his brand new installation of Ubuntu MATE.

I wanted to check if this is possible.

Hello Ubuntu MATE community, i seem to have encountered some problems running MATE 1.16.1, I wanted to save some custom panel layouts i made but it seems that MATE tweak only lets you use one, i searched google on how to add more customized layouts to mate tweak but no results (only an old ubuntu forum post that no one answered) I know that some layouts are in /usr/share/mate-panel/layouts/ but renaming those custom layouts doesn’t seem to work, any ideas on how to add more?
