When I try to save from snap applications (in my case firefox and signal-desktop), I no longer get a file dialog box asking where I want to save the file.
I initially reported this to signal-desktop [Bug]: Downloading images and videos does not work · Issue #246 · snapcrafters/signal-desktop · GitHub , but seeing as it also happens from Firefox, it appears to be a problem with my desktop.
When I try to save from a non-snap application like Pluma I get the file dialog like I should.
I am on 22.04 Jammy
Does anyone here have any ideas as to how I can fix this?
