Have tried most distros but love Ubuntu Mate. Tried 18.04 but even latest daily build it doesnt see my workgroup. I go into network and it sees my linux nas but under Windows Network my work group just doesnt show. I have 2 Windows 10 pro computers with shares using windows smb. In 16.04 and even 17.10 they show up but install 18.04 and they dont show. Looked under synaptic package maager and the samba/smb are all there same as earlier version but no go. If not there in final version then will have to look for another distro as I use those for backups
