Cant start steam in 16.04

hi, i want to play some games and i download the .deb from it’s site, then it updates and not open, i tried run it in debug mode and it gives me this:

What graphics card and driver are you using? (This can be checked in Software & Updates -> Additional Drivers tab)

As a side note, Steam is available from the Software Boutique, which installs Ubuntu's packaged version from the partner repositories, but I wouldn't have guessed this would make a difference at this point.

So you have a amd gpu. If you search in the forum you will find the fix the same on google

    This problem is due to some outdated libraries in the steam folder. While the steam team update the solution is to erase them (so steam will take them from the system).

i dont know do i have a amd gpu but i did delete the five files you mentioned above, but still it updates and crashed

My install is not booting either and I found a work-a-round. In terminal:

And I’m up and running So give it a try.

I have no way of checking this on AMD graphics, but there are reports of it running on the generic drivers in 16o4.

i have the display right, i made the locale to be as you said, and as it cant find it in your directory i go search it out and i found two of them, i tried the one on i368 and i suceed on starting, but when i press the login button it crashed, here is what it said:
